1999 ∙ Parade float Mariposa Monarca for the Festival de Primavera del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México.

1997 ∙ Founding of the El Aire Centro de Arte, an independent center for the plastic arts, open to a variety of cultural expressions.

1993 ∙ Parra directs the traveling exhibition Colorín colorado: el arte de los niños indios in Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes, benefiting the Fideicomiso para la Salud y la Alimentación de los Niños Indígenas de México (FIDEO).

1992 ∙ Installation in Mexico City’s Museo de Antropología for World Environment Day, presided over by Social Development Secretary Luis Donaldo Colosio; set design for Ofelia Medina’s spectacle Sor Juana hoy in Madrid’s Casa de América, part of the Quinto Centenario del Descubrimiento de América.

1991 ∙ She helps her friend Margarita González Gamio, Miguel Hidalgo’s representative, in the recovery of the murals of Diego Rivera at the Cárcamo del Río Lerma.

1990 ∙ Set design for Ofelia Medina’s spectacle Mexican Señorita at New York’s Roseland Ballroom.
